For our wedding reception site we have chosen the American Adventure Rotunda located in Epcot. For those of you who have visited Disney World before you may have visited this attraction. It is an absolutely  beautiful  location that we are very excited about.. Please look at the information below and especially the tips
information box!
The American pavilion is a colonial-style mansion whose roots are found in the architecture of Independence Hall, Boston's Old State House, Monticello and Colonial Williamsburg (home sweet home). The 110,000 reddish colored bricks used on the building were all hand-made from Georgian clay and were actually tinted and aged to add to the authenticity. The floors inside are made from rose marble and copper. Inside the lobby and Halls of this grand structure, you'll find quotations from great Americans like Walt Disney, Althea Gibson, Charles A. Lindbergh, Ayn Rand, Thomas Wolfe, Wendell Wilkie and Jane Addams. Amidst the motivational sayings, you'll find galleries of changing origianl artwork on loan for exhibit depicting the development of the United States.
The rose gardens around the pavilion are unique in that they are all varieties named for U.S. Presidents.
FUN FACTS:Although the American Adventure building is actually five stories high, “forced perspective” makes it look only two stories high, so that it accurately reflects colonial architecture (in which buildings were never more than two stories).

HIDDEN MICKEYS: In the foyer of the American Adventure, check out the three holes on the girder.
Tips & Info.
*
Our wedding ceremony is scheduled for 7:30pm on Sat. May 28, 2005, a formal reception shall follow immediately..
* The attraction is specifically being closed for our wedding reception and therefore must begin a little late in the evening. Trust us, this amazing location is WELL worth it. Just be sure to grab a late lunch the day of the wedding as we will not be eating dinner until late. But be sure to save room as a four course meal will be served.
* We also have a very exciting "secret" cocktail hour planned for all of you that I'm hoping everyone will enjoy!
* You are not required to purchase an admission ticket to attend the reception even though it is in the park. However, if you have an annual pass or plan to visit the park earlier in the day please let either Tim or Jen know, Thanks!
